Before you go through the trouble of downloading the game, ensure your PC meets the minimum specifications. Titanfall 1 is over a decade old, so its requirements are quite modest by modern standards. However, you are not going to find a version that runs on a netbook.
Electronic Arts removed Titanfall 1 from sale in late 2021. You can no longer buy it directly from official stores.
Check the final extracted folder size against the official game size (around 48-50 GB). If it is significantly smaller, core audio files may be missing.
However, if you had previously purchased Titanfall 1 on Origin or Steam before it was delisted, the game should still be available in your digital library for download. While the official download is not "highly compressed," it is the definitive, untouched, and fully legal version of the game.
If you manage to get into a match, you'll be experiencing one of the most fluid and innovative shooters ever made. The game's core loop is brilliant and still unmatched in many ways.

Open your NVIDIA or AMD control panel and set "Power Management Mode" to "Prefer Maximum Performance" specifically for the Titanfall executable.
