VGMTrans was natively built for Windows, macOS, and Linux. There is currently no official, native "VGMTrans" app available on the Google Play Store. However, because Android is a highly flexible, Linux-based operating system, developers and power users have found highly effective ways to run VGMTrans on mobile devices.

To listen to the extracted music exactly how it sounded in the game, download a SoundFont-capable MIDI player from the Play Store, such as or MIDI Clef . Load your extracted .mid file into the app.

Download the portable .zip version of VGMTrans from its official GitHub repository. Extract the folder within your emulator's virtual C: drive. Launch VGMTrans.exe inside the emulator.

You can use web-based versions of VGMTrans or format converters via Google Chrome on Android to drop files and extract your audio without installing heavy software. Supported Formats and Consoles
